Reimann delivers Farewell from the Faculty at Albion College Commencement

May 4, 2024 — David Reimann gave the Farewell from the Faculty address Beacons at the Albion College Commencement ceremony on May 4, 2024. See his remarks beginning at the 2:33:00 mark in the video. This follow the Albion tradition of the faculty member giving the Charge from the Faculty address to incoming students also delivering the Farewell from the Faculty address. Reimann's art wins award

April 6, 2022 — David Reimann's piece Septenary Circles won The American Mathematical Society's "Best photograph, painting, or print" JMM Mathematical Art Exhibition Award, given "for aesthetically pleasing works that combine mathematics and art". The award was established in 2008 through an endowment provided to the American Mathematical Society by an anonymous donor who wishes to acknowledge those whose works demonstrate the beauty and elegance of mathematics expressed in a visual art form.
