A reciprocal structure based on the icosidodecahedron featuring sixty sinusoidal serpents slithering on a sphere.
Background and Inspiration
One of the serpent units. The serpent boundaries and the holes were laser cut. The eyes and stripes were etched with the laser at a lower power.
While the overall shape is sinusoidal, the holes are in a rhombic pattern.
