Red Rubber Ball Condoms, 12 in 2020

This form is based on the icosidodecahedron, an Archimedean solid with 60 edges. Each of the underlying polyhedral edges have been replaced a packed red condom. The condoms are connected at their corners with split-pin fasteners.

Background and Inspiration

I created Inconceivable Symmetries in 2014 and had been thinking of making a few additional pieces to create a series of related pieces. This is the second in that series.
